Flowers

Rainy day. Librarian visited and read us two books. One about the town crew cleaning up and the other about animals getting out of the rain.

We worked on these beautiful flowers, which are now hanging in our garden!

Garden

We turned the soil in the garden today.  We picked out any roots and weeds and used them to start filling the hole in our playground.  The kids also found a June Bug and were happy to hear it wasn't poisonous!

It's May!

This month we will be learning about gardens.  Flowers, Herbs, and Vegetables too.  We will be working up to our playground vegetable garden by the end of the month.  We managed to do a little work on our indoor flower garden before we were once again distracted by all the "worker men."
