Welcome Back Dana and Jakob!

The kids were all very excited and curious to have Jakob and Dana here. We finally managed to finish the story of the big bad wolf... Here are some samples.

Jakob was pretty bored with the whole thing. :)

Rain rain.... Go Away!

The morning started out like any other morning.  We had snack, circle time, and then on to small group.

Some kids were working quietly on block towers...

Others were working quietly on their names...

Then we did a little dancing to wiggle away the rainy day blues....

Then we sat down to write the ending of the three little pigs.  It appeared that many of our friends had NOT wiggled out their rainy day blues.  After much wiggling and jiggling and chitter and chatter, the teachers finally threw their hands up in the air!  This story is to be continued......

Don't count your eggs before they hatch!

We had an egg hunt today. We found eggs full of marshmallows and one spring chicken! As you can see we were moving quite quickly gathering eggs! Then we sat very still while eating marshmallows!

I would also like to say thank you for being so understanding about being closed for this long weekend! I really needed some weekdays to attend to business! Thanks again!

Catching up.

It has been a little busy around here.

On Thursday, Abby, from Mt. Blue Middle School joined us for her career day. She read us stories and kept us busy most of the morning! She also helped us build a brick house for the pigs.

On Friday, Ben's Aunt Steph was here helping out.

Today we enjoyed the beautiful weather before it starts raining again.
We also talked about different scenarios of the three little pigs. Why did the wolf want to come in? Maybe he just wanted to play!
What if three wolves built houses and a little pig wanted to come in? Maybe he would offer them some "slop." Lots of great ideas!
