Coming Soon: Tinkering Camp

Click here for Some ideas to explore. These are things that we may or may not be participating in during next weeks Tinkering camp. If you have any supplies to donate or tools for us to borrow, please send them our way!  Tinkering is starting to be popular in many progressive preschools around the world.

Some suggestions:

Rubber mallet
Hammers
Boards with pre-drilled holes
Electronics for destroying
Masking Tape
Goggles (Dollar Tree is great place for these)

Fairy Tale Camp

The main focus this week was to inspire both imagination and play by introducing the children to popular and modern fairy tales. Another goal was to expose them to illustrations of stories that they may already be familiar with, but from artists other than Walt Disney and Dreamworks. Other projects that you may have seen in your child's mailbox were focusing more on early literacy and writing skills.
