Hodge podge of the last couple weeks

We have been working on E is for Eat and P is for Patterns.  A lot the activities have taken place at circle time and haven't really been picture worthy.
Here are some of the other things that have been going on in the classroom

Very Hungry Caterpillar Sensory Bin

Orvis visits preschool,  but was feeling a bit jealous that The Cat in The Hat was getting so much attention.

Lots of sledding. The only plus side of the constant snowing.
Shaving Cream and Blocks.
Our new targets in the exercise area have lead to the creation of many new games including "Target Parget."
Reggio inspired mosaics in sand.

Mosaics in empty picture frames.

Patterns

Some samples of our pattern journals.

FOOD

Slicing carrots with the wavy chopper.

Cracking Peanuts.

We've been peeling our own "cuties" for snacks

We made homemade bread.

And homemade butter in a jar.

Blown Away... (October)

On A Blustery Day...
(Just found this post from back in October. Apparently I never published it. Enjoy)

Seemed like a great day to take out our new scarves to play. Wrong.
The scarves went this way.
Up, Up, Up and Away

We went looking for them but they were loooonnnnggg gone.
I have never seen anything move so FAST and HIGH!

So we decided to tie the rest of them down.

And carry them around
